Day 5

It is 10/30/19. Today my group and I worked on finding the fonts that we would be using for our magazine. Instead of looking through the many different types of fonts, we took a more efficient route and looked at the different font styles that magazines use, such as Highsnobiety,  Hypebeast, GQ, and a few more covers. While looking through the different fonts I saw that the magazines tend to have a more minimalist, big, and bold style for the headings. I also found that all the magazines have a large bold font for the purpose of getting their audience to get a brief yet effective statement that gets readers to click on the trending news; all the headings and main topics are in bold letters while the content/information is in  some type of small font, such as Georgia font. The purpose of this is to keep the reading consistent and when a key part of the information comes up, a bold font tends to appear in the article to make it stand out to show that it is important.

Day 4

Day 4
It is 10/28/19, my group and I decided to continue to compare and contrast various fashion magazines to see what seemingly growing trends where include in their magazine. I found that between three magazines that I looked at: GQ, Teen Vogue, and Complex, they had had post about the growing trend of chunky sneakers/ boots. The rapidly growing sneaker trend is mainly due to the change in season and celebrity influence, such as Gigi Hadid and Hailey Bieber . The season is a big factor in the trend growing trend, because as it starts to get colder more and more people are looking to buy or already have some type of sturdier, warmer shoe that is going to keep them comfortable throughout the cold weather.
